How to read them

What to look for in any HVAC company’s reviews

This applies to every contractor you are considering, including this one. It is a fairer test than a star count.

  • Do reviewers name the actual problem, or only say 'great service'? Specific beats effusive every time.
  • Is anyone describing a repair that held? A five-star review written the same afternoon proves the visit was pleasant, not that the fix worked.
  • Does anyone mention being told they did not need a replacement? That is the hardest thing for a commissioned salesperson to do.
  • Are the negative reviews about price surprises, or about outcomes? A surprise invoice is a process failure, and it repeats.
  • Do the same tech names come up over and over, or is it a different person every time?
  • Is the owner responding to criticism like an adult, or arguing with customers in public?

A one-person shop cannot hide behind volume. Every review is about the same technician, so the pattern is either consistent or it is obvious. That is a harder standard to meet — and it is the entire argument for hiring one.
